Who we are

Nest Financial Solutions is a boutique financial planning firm based in Newcastle run by Dominic Brown. It was established in order to provide practical and useful financial advice without the exorbitant fees often associated with it.

We specialise in retirement planning and building long term relationships with our clients. Our business structure and investment philosophy are centred around putting in place a plan to help ensure you can enjoy the retirement you want.

At times getting your finances in order can feel stressful and intimidating. At Nest Financial Solutions we work with you to take the worry out of managing your finances. Whilst the finance industry seems intent on making things complicated and confusing, at Nest Financial Solutions, our approach is focused on being approachable, friendly and communicating with our clients in plain English.

At Nest Financial Solutions, you will enjoy the consistency of a dedicated financial adviser to help and support you with your finances.

Dominic is passionate about financial advice. After having worked in the industry for over 20 years, he firmly believes that financial advice is not just for the wealthy. Anyone can benefit from good financial advice. Whilst some financial planning businesses have a focus on providing advice solely to the wealthy, Dominic has purposely set up Nest Financial Solutions with a business structure that better allows him to help and support everyday Australians.

Dominic was born and raised in England but immigrated to Australia in 2006 and has lived in Newcastle ever since. He is happily married to Michelle and they have two sports mad children, Will and Jonny.

Although a keen sportsman in his day, in particular rugby union, Dominic has long since hung up his boots and, outside of work, now spends his time living his life through his kids, endlessly ferrying them to one sports practice after another and cheering them on from the side line. Although, he wouldn’t have it any other way!
